Job description:

The work is related to sample preparation for chemical and physicochemical analysis and analysis of samples from the environment, materials, waste and food.

The responsibilities assigned to the holder of the position are:

• Preliminary preparation of the sample for analysis;
• Performing analysis of the obtained samples according to standardized and validated intra-laboratory methods;
• Work with specialized laboratory equipment;
• Work in accordance with the requirements of BDS EN ISO / IEC 17025: 2018;
• Communicative competence - Ability for effective exchange of information and clear expression in oral and written form;
• Teamwork - Ability to and participate in teams that work cooperatively to achieve a common goal;
• Personal requirements - Precision; Accuracy; Honesty; Initiative; Liability; Discipline; Correctness;

Requirements for candidates:

• Educational level: Secondary technical or higher chemical education;
• Professional field: chemistry;
• Professional experience: not less than 1 year;
• Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Internet, etc.) and specialized technical resources;
• The job is also suitable for interns, PhD students and final year students.

The following are considered an advantage:

• Experience in working with experience with classical methods of analytical chemistry;
• Experiment with instrumental analytical methods (UV-VIS, GC, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, Ionic chromatography and others);
• Work in an accredited laboratory;
• Knowledge of QA / QC in analytical laboratory activities;
• Proficiency in English - written and spoken is considered an advantage.
